Alan D. Bluhm

Alan is a 6th generation Live Oak County native, graduating from George West High School. After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University, Alan worked for Schering-Plough Corporation, a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical manufacturer. After ten years in pharmaceutical sales, Alan attended The University of Texas at San Antonio, attaining a Master of Business Administration Degree. Upon graduation, he served as Vice-President of Operations, for RGR & Associates, an independent auditing contractor for the Texas Workforce Commission.

While working full-time with RGR & Associates, Alan entered the Inaugural class of the newly created Evening Program offered by St. Mary's University School of Law, graduating in 2011  

Alan was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2012. He then returned to Live Oak County and founded the Bluhm Law Firm, PLLC.  

Alan has two adult children. One is a graduate student while the other is a pediatrician and is married to an attorney. In 2020, Alan married Lori and now has a step-son, an attorney, also married to an attorney. 

Alan's hobbies include ranching and hunting.
