Alan D. Bluhm

Alan is a 6th generation Live Oak County native, graduating from George West High School. After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University, Alan worked for Schering-Plough Corporation, a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical manufacturer. After ten years in pharmaceutical sales, Alan attended The University of Texas at San Antonio, attaining a Master of Business Administration Degree. Upon graduation, he served as Vice-President of Operations, for RGR & Associates, an independent auditing contractor for the Texas Workforce Commission.

While with RGR, Alan entered the inaugural class of the Evening Program at St. Mary's University School of Law. After being admitted to the State Bar of Texas, he returned to Live Oak County and founded the Bluhm Law Firm, PLLC.  

Alan has two adult children. One is a Board Certified Pediatrician and is married to an attorney while the other is a Statistics Instructor at Youngstown State University. In 2020, Alan married Lori and now has a step-son, an attorney, also married to an attorney. 

Alan's hobbies include ranching and hunting.
